Leadfeeder vs Lead Forensics pricing for a US B2B team

Marketing and sales directors leaning over a printed US map with pins and account cards on a conference table

Leadfeeder publishes its prices and Lead Forensics does not. Leadfeeder starts at €0 for Lite and runs from €79 a month (Discover) to €599 a month (Scale), billed yearly in euros. Lead Forensics sells Essentials and Automate by quote only, priced on your traffic and the leads it uncovers, and third-party data puts a typical deal near $35,000 a year. For a team that needs a number before a sales call, Leadfeeder is easier to budget. VisitorDetector is a third option with listed dollar plans from $49 a month, covered in our Leadfeeder alternative and Lead Forensics alternative pages.

What Leadfeeder costs

Leadfeeder is now part of Dealfront. Its Lite plan is free but only shows your last 100 companies with 7 days of history. Discover starts at €79 a month billed yearly for up to 50 companies and reaches €309 a month for 501 to 1,000. Activate starts at €369 a month and adds credits and contact data. Scale starts at €599. Monthly billing on Discover starts at €113.

The headline price depends on how many companies you want identified each month, and contact lookups use credits. Read the full breakdown in our Leadfeeder pricing guide.

What Lead Forensics costs

Lead Forensics lists Essentials and Automate and sends every visitor to a demo form. Its own FAQ says the cost depends on how much traffic your site generates, and the demo page adds the number of new leads it uncovers. Users are unlimited.

Third-party reports describe annual contracts and renewals near $20,400 to $22,800 in one negotiation. Details, quote drivers and demo questions are in our Lead Forensics pricing guide.

Which one costs less for a US team

For a site with modest traffic, Leadfeeder is almost always the lower and more predictable bill. Discover covers a few hundred companies for a few hundred euros a month, and you can see the number before talking to anyone.

Lead Forensics can come out cheaper only if your traffic is low enough that a quote lands at the bottom of the reported range, and that is a bet you only learn the result of after the demo. As traffic grows, a traffic-based quote grows with it. A company band on Leadfeeder grows in steps you can read in advance.

Two things shift the answer. Credits, because Leadfeeder charges them for contact data, and currency, because Leadfeeder bills in euros so the exchange rate moves your dollar cost.

A worked estimate at 1,000 companies a month

Suppose a US SaaS site expects around 1,000 identified companies a month with CRM sync.

OptionAnnual costBasis
Leadfeeder Discover, 501 to 1,000 band€3,708€309 a month billed yearly, from the pricing page
Leadfeeder ActivateFrom €4,428€369 a month billed yearly, credits included
Lead ForensicsQuote onlyReported $6,000 to $98,000
VisitorDetector Growth$1,188$99 a month billed yearly

The Leadfeeder rows are in euros, the others in dollars, so convert before you compare. Lead Forensics has no row you can verify, which is the point. VisitorDetector Growth identifies companies only, with no contact lookups, so it is cheaper because it does less. If your reps need named contacts, price that separately, for example with an AI SDR that researches each account and writes the outreach.

How to choose between them

Pick Leadfeeder if you want a published price, a monthly option and a trial you can start today. Pick Lead Forensics if you want a managed service, unlimited users and are comfortable with a negotiated annual contract. Add a third quote from a dollar-priced company-level tool if budget is tight.

Before you sign anything, ask for the same three facts from each vendor: the company or lead cap, what happens when you pass it, and the cancellation terms.

Questions people ask about Leadfeeder vs Lead Forensics

Is Leadfeeder cheaper than Lead Forensics?

For most small and mid-size sites, yes. Leadfeeder publishes plans from €79 a month billed yearly, and Lite is free. Lead Forensics has no public price and reports put typical deals in the tens of thousands of dollars a year. Only a written quote for your traffic settles the comparison.

How much does Lead Forensics cost compared to Leadfeeder?

Lead Forensics averages near $35,000 a year in third-party procurement data, with a range of about $6,000 to $98,000. Leadfeeder's published paid plans run from €948 a year on Discover to €7,188 a year on Scale at the starting prices, before credits and enterprise deals.

Which has a free trial, Leadfeeder or Lead Forensics?

Both do. Leadfeeder offers 14 days of full access and then drops an unpaid account to its free Lite plan. Lead Forensics offers a one-week trial with no obligation, requested by form or phone. Use either to test identified companies on your own traffic before committing.

Does Lead Forensics or Leadfeeder identify individual people?

Both are built around identified companies. Leadfeeder adds contact data on Activate and above through credits, while contact details at Lead Forensics are a scope question to settle in the quote. VisitorDetector identifies companies only and never names a person.

Can I pay monthly for either one?

Leadfeeder offers monthly billing at about 30% above the yearly rate. Third-party reviews describe Lead Forensics as annual contracts, so confirm in writing whether a monthly term is possible.
